![]() Happy days!Įdited by stormventsrage2, 27 December 2018 - 12:08 PM. My advice to you is to play the tier 8-10 tanks you like, and either ignore your winrate or suggest to WG that they replace historical winrates with current winrates computed using a rolling average over 500-750 games. When I can play without such targeted bias from the matchmaker is when I will move to tier 3 on the Chinese tech tree and I will play no other tank until then. For the last three weeks, I wanted to grind the Chinese line for the first time but I was queued for more than 30 minutes in total just to play one tier 2 game. These days, the situation for experienced players who are conscious of the difference between their current ability and their average record is only worse. So the conclusion is that the matchmaker is DESIGNED to keep you in your place, if you try to play the rules rather than the game as a way to boost your winrate. Indeed, it took more than 3000 games in the sealclubbing tank to equalize my winrates, even though I had gotten within 1 % of my goal in about 1000 games. WG hates people who try to equalize their winrate, I thought. Then the matchmaker started to continually put me in games where I was bottom tier: I counted 27 bottom tier games between top tier games. Still high, but my progress towards my goal of parity with published and actual winrate slowed significantly. after about 250 games my winrate had dropped and after about 500 games it was 72%. 80 percent was incredible, but I was sealclubbing right? No so fast. The tank performed at over 80 percent winrate for 100 games. So I bought it and set out on my quest for 60.Ĭan’t guess? Okay I’ll fill you in. It’s gun was poor but I knew how to get around opponents and put shots into weak spots. Why an S35? This little tier 3 tank had armor and mobility. Having 15000 games at the time, I thought a good sealclubbing tank would allow me to progress farther than my tier 7 59% average. Gosh, I thought I could go from green to blue all I need is a 5% boost. But even well before update 3.0, I noticed my current winrate was 60%+, but my historical win rate, which WG publishes, was only 55%. The main reason for my lack of progress is I was grinding every leaf and node of every tech tree, but the horrible update 3.8 mostly killed any desire to play this game. I have 26000+ games but I haven’t gone past tier 8. That’s fine, actually, because Wargaming loves players who love to play. I can’t offer much advice in that regard, so I will suppose that somehow you loved the game so much, you haven’t cared about winning. If you have really grinded your way to t10 and still have a win rate less than 48%, my guess is that you have hardware issues. Got 50% or more WR on the JP2 and the Jagdtiger. I have researched the T20 though it seems the T20 is a worse tank tier for tier. ![]() Well rounded, fast, strong turret, but lackluster penetration. The M4 not so much but the E8 is very good. Kind of inaccurate guns too, idk I'm really used to the German accuracy.Īmerican mediums on the other hand, I really like It. Sidescraping works well though.Īs with the T-34 line, I can't find it really fun. I'm not good at angling though, because I get penetrated very often. I got a 3000+ damage match in that tank and got 1st class (idk maybe mastery). You could add Wolverine and Stug to learn TDs.įor the KV line, I am good at it (not much). Those three tier 5 tanks will teach you all the basics to lift WR. HTs, flat ground Mts and hill loving Mts. Play KV1 till you can get 55% WR, more than 100 games (WR for KV1).
